1.Prepare the foundation

Jaw crusher is usually installed on the concrete foundation, the foundation leaves a drainage trough, the slope is less than 50 degrees, because the vibration of the crusher is large, it is necessary to isolate the foundation of the crusher from the foundation of the factory.

2.Frame installation

The mounting shall be made between frame and concrete to absorb vibration, such as hardwood, rubber, etc., and the horizontal and longitudinal levels should meets the installation requirements of the equipment, generally should be less than 0.2mm.

3.Key point of eccentric shaft and bearing install

Before install the shaft and bearing, make a good match of the plain bearing and then put it into the sliding bearing seat, and use the level meter to detect the level and coaxiality. If the measurement results meet the requirements, install the eccentric shaft on the bearing.Red lead powder is used to check the matching condition of the shaft and bearing. Daub some grease to reduce the shaft worn. The contact area between the eccentric shaft and the frame shall not be less than 80% and the gap shall be less than 0.07mm.

4.Key points of movable jaw installation

After assembled the movable jaw, movable jaw shaft, movable jaw plate, toggle plate on the ground, using a crane to lift the assembled parts to the crusher's frame. Install the sliding bearing properly and check the coaxiality and slope, the slope should be 0.2mm, coaxiality should be 0.06mm.

5.Key point of jaw plates installation

Jaw plates are important parts of jaw crusher, and needs to be changed frequently. Should be installed properly to ensure the compactness.

Correct operation is one of the important factors to ensure the jaw crusher's continuous and normal operation.Improper operation or carelessness will cause equipment and personal accident.

1. Preparation before starting: Carry out comprehensive inspection on the equipment before starting. Check the wear of the jaw plate; adjust the discharging size; check if there is ore in the crushing chamber; if there is large lump of ore, it must be taken out; check whether the coupling bolt is loose, whether the protective cover of the belt pulley and the flywheel is in good condition, and whether the tightness of the V-belt and the pull rod spring is appropriate, The filling degree of the oil storage tank and the condition of the lubrication system, whether the electrical equipment and the signal system are normal, and so on.

2.Before starting the jaw crusher, the oil pump motor and cooling system should be turned firstly. After 3-4min, the motor should be started when the oil pressure and oil flow indicator is normal. After starting, if the jaw crusher makes an abnormal sound, stop the crusher,identify and eliminate maladies, then restart the machine. Jaw crusher must be started without load, after a period of time working,feed material to work.

3.Feeding should be evenly, avoid side feeding or full feeding, avoid single-side overload or overload. The ore shall not be filled with the crushing chamber, and the maximum size of the ore is not bigger than 0.85 times of the width of input. At the same time, the non-crushed material is prohibited to the crusher. During operation, it is also necessary to prevent the large ore stuck on the feeding. If it is stuck, use the iron hook to turn the ore. If the large ore needs to be taken out, it is forbidden to do the work by hand to avoid the accident.

4.Feeding should be evenly, avoid side feeding or full feeding, avoid single-side overload or overload. The ore shall not be filled with the crushing chamber, and the maximum size of the ore is not bigger than 0.85 times of the width of input. At the same time, the non-crushed material is prohibited to the crusher. During operation, it is also necessary to prevent the large ore stuck on the feeding. If it is stuck, use the iron hook to turn the ore. If the large ore needs to be taken out, it is forbidden to do the work by hand to avoid the accident.

5.Every time add 50% volume to the bearing seat,and every nine shifts shall be filled once every 3-6 months. The way of the ball bearing shall be cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene when the oil is changed.A proper amount of grease should be injected between the toggle plate and the toggle plate seat.When sudden failure to the oil pump, the crusher can be stopped by 15-20 minutes due to the large swing power. At this time, the oil can be supplied by the hand-pressing oil pump, to keep the bearing lubricated without the accident of burning the bearing.

6.The operator must be educated in safety technology before operating the machine.

7.When stop the crusher, must follow the production process. First stop feeding, after all ore discharged, stop jaw crusher and belt conveyor. When the crusher is stopped, the lubrication and cooling system can be stopped. In winter, the circulating cooling water in the bearing should be removed to avoid the bearing frozen and cracked. Clean up and inspect all parts of the machine after shutdown.

8.If the jaw crusher stops suddenly for some reason, clean all the ore in the crushing chamber before re-start.
