Jaw crusher is mainly composed of frame part, eccentric shaft rotation part, crushing chamber working part, safety device, discharge port adjustment device and other parts. The crushing mode is curved extrusion type: the motor drives the belt pulley, then the belt pulley drives the eccentric shaft to make the movable jaw swing up and down. When the movable jaw pushes the movable jaw plate to the fixed jaw plate, the material is crushed or split; when the movable jaw and the movable jaw plate retreat under the action of the eccentric shaft and the spring, the previously crushed or split material is discharged from the lower discharge port of the jaw plate. With the continuous rotation of the motor, the movable jaw works periodically to crush and discharge materials to achieve continuous production.

Though jaw crusher is a very common used mining equipment, many customer don’t know how to choose a jaw crusher, we often hear from customers that please give suggestion on how to choose jaw crusher size and capacity. Yes there are many jaw crusher models, choose the size and capacity should be based on different requirements. Actually, jaw crusher is a very mature product, the model and size is relatively standard, such as the feeding size from 400*600mm, 500*750mm, 600*900mm, 750*1060mm, 900*1200mm, 1200*1500mm and so on, so it is easy to choose a jaw crusher size, usually the size mean the feeding size, this is determined by the rock size, every model jaw crusher have a maximum feeding size, such as the maximum feeding size is about 500mm of jaw crusher 600*900.
