How to process iron ore
Iron ore is an iron-rich ore used primarily in steel manufacturing and infrastructure construction. Pure magnetite can be directly put into the furnace to make iron, but after all, there are still more associated ores. For some magnetite with relatively high impurity content, simple crushing and screening, grinding and magnetic separation are required to produce concentrate, so the iron ore processing and production technology mainly includes three processes: crushing, grinding and mineral processing.
The first stage: crushing and screening, three-stage closed-circuit crushing
Large pieces of iron ore are evenly sent to the jaw crusher or coarse crushing mobile station through the silo by the vibrating feeder for coarse crushing; the coarsely crushed iron ore is screened by the vibrating screen and sent to the crusher by the belt conveyor. The single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher performs secondary crushing; the iron ore materials after secondary crushing are sent to the multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for fine crushing;
Second stage: grinding
The 0-12 mm iron powder screened by the vibrating screen is evenly sent to the mill for grinding, and is screened by the spiral classifier. The iron powder that does not meet the requirements is sent to the mill for continued grinding;
The third stage: magnetic separation
Send the iron powder that meets the mineral processing requirements into the magnetic separator for strong magnetic separation and magnetic separation to remove impurities;
The fourth stage: drying
The obtained iron powder is sent to a dryer for drying to obtain iron fine powder.
